Frozen Chicken MDM
What is chicken MDM? The meaning of MDM is an acronym that stands for Mechanically Deboned Meat. MDM is also popularly known as MRM. Where MRM stands for Mechanically Recovered Meat. It can also be known as MSM, which stands for Mechanically Separated Meat. The chicken MDM is a paste-like type of meat that is produced by forcing chicken under high pressure through a sieve-like device or a mechanical deboning device. The device separates the chickens bone from the meat tissue. The objective of the MDM is to optimize the recovery and yield the remainder of the chicken carcass effectively and efficiently once the primal chicken cuts have been removed.
The paste that is extracted from the MDM is used to manufacture processed meat. The process of obtaining chicken MDM entails the grinding or pureeing the carcass left from the chicken after the manual removal of the chicken meat from the bones. Then the slurry is passed through a sieve with a lot of pressure. The puree includes the chicken’s bone marrow, bone, skin, blood vessels, and the remaining scraps of meat from the bone. The resulting product from mixing the different remaining parts of the chicken is a mix of chicken muscle tissue.
Despite using the remaining chicken tissue, chicken necks are also useful. After following the standard procedure for obtaining chicken MDM, we proceed to the preservation stage. Here we store the chicken MDM in a plate freezer to help in its preservation. Freezing the chicken MDM also helps give it a block-like shape. We sell the frozen chicken MDM in quantities of 10kg to 25 kg in the form of blocks.
The frozen chicken MDM is the perfect protein source for a majority of people. It is also useful in the production of items like sausages, hot dogs, and other meat processed products.
